Towards the end of 2004 we have started operating within the European market.

The creation of our company can be seen as a direct consequence of the developments within the adult industry over the past few years.
Too many adult movies are released every month; which makes it difficult and too time-consuming for a serious and professional buyer to pick the best content only.

The focus of Sunset Media was to establish itself first on the European continent.

We used the Venus Berlin 2004 trade fair as a platform to introduce our vision and products to the European trade. This trade fair was a great success; exclusive distribution deals for various parts of the European Continent and a prestigious award (Best Film USA) sounded the beginning of a promising future.

This success was continued in 2005. More labels were added to the catalogue, more deals were signed and Venus 2005 brought yet another Award (Best Fetish Label Europe). At the 2006 AVN awards in Las Vegas our labels received no less than 30 (!) nominations and at the new 2006 trade-show of Venus in Paris France we received an award for Best Director Europe. All of these awards indicate the international recognition and popularity of our content.


Currently our company is actively distributing our labels and content in numerous European territories and our goal is still to provide a superior quality product to the mainstream and niche-entertainment consumer.
